Released by the Hop Breeding Company in 2024, Krush™ HBC 586 c.v. offers a complex and punchy aromatic profile. This hop variety is characterized by notes of citrus, specifically orange, alongside tropical hints of mango and guava. Stone fruit qualities, reminiscent of peach, are also present, complemented by berry notes described as mixed berry, and a woody, resinous undertone. These characteristics are evident both on the bine and in the finished beer. Described as a fruit cocktail in cone form, Krush™ is a highly unique and versatile hop that delivers significant impact. It has become a favorite among brewers and performs well in a wide range of beer styles and hop combinations.

Originally bred in 2007 by the Hop Breeding Company experimental hop variety program, Krush™ HBC 586 went through a thorough 17-year process as an experimental variety and was officially released as a commercial hop brand in 2024.
